Email Swipe Sheets
My open rates are significantly higher than the industry standard according to my Mailchimp analytics. There are a couple of reasons for this.
First, I keep it simple. No images or fancy pull quotes in my emails. Everything in the email can be read as text without losing any value. It takes time for images to load in email and you can’t be sure what email client your customer is using. Keep it simple!
Secondly, I clean my email list regularly and without remorse. If someone has not interacted with any of my emails in six months then I clean them from my list. This does two great things; 1. I pay less in email costs and 2. my open rates are higher because I’m sending to people who want to read my stuff. Easy, peasy.
Here are a few emails that I’ve sent recently that had over 38-56% open rates. The industry standard is about 24%.
